Ann Grabham (nee Stone) died peacefully at home at 04.30 on 13th August, 2007 aged 59 years. Bill was by her side. She bravely battled cancer for 3  years and was determined to end her days at home with friends and family. In spite of her illness her sense of humour and love of her family and friends never left her and she will be sadly missed.

Funeral arrangements are a memorial service at Hernhill Church, Kent on 28th August at 11.30 am Directions to Hernhill. This will be followed by cremation at Barham Crematorium at 12.40 Directions to Barham. Finally a gathering to celebrate her life will take place at the Three Horseshoes, Staplestreet after the Barham committal Link to the Shoes. Ann's request - no black ties please!

Flowers from immediate family only but we do request donations for the District/Community Nursing Fund in the form of cheques which should be made out to Kent and Medway NHS and sent to: Hogben and Partis Ltd., 37, Stone Street, Faversham, Kent ME13 8PH. The care provided by District Nurses and Kent Home Care Service was first class and enabled Ann to spend her last 9 months in her own home.

Her ashes will be interred at a private family ceremony in Hernhill Churchyard on 31st August at 10.30 am although a tablet/headstone in Devonian unpolished granite will not be available until late November. This will be a joint plot for Ann and Bill.

We look forward to seeing all of our friends and family again to celebrate Ann's life. If visitors need accommodation then please call our colleagues at the Cermatco office 01304-842222 and speak to Linda or Penny. Some accommodation has been reserved.
